Dr. Michael Tritto
Dr. Michael Tritto is the Treasurer of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, LLC and one of the original founding members. He served on the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA) executive board from 1999-2008, and has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice-President. He was President of the MPMA from 2004 to 2006. He received the “Podiatrist of the Year” Award from the MPMA in 2001.
He was also on the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Health Systems Committee from 2000-2008, and, in 2008, served as the committee chair. He continues to be active on a variety of APMA committees on a national level.-delete this and add this instead He has remained active in the American Podiatric Medical Association serving on and chairing numerous committees over the years, including being a delegate to the APMA House of Delegates for the last 15 years.
Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in foot surgery. Dr. Tritto is also a Fellow and Founding Member of the American Society for Podiatric Surgeons.

Dr. Michael Tritto was elected Chair of the Department of Podiatric Surgery at Suburban Hospital three times from 2000-2002, 2008-2010, and 2012-2014. He also is on staff at Shady Grove Adventisit Hospital in Rockville. Dr. Tritto specializes in sports medicine, custom orthotic management of foot pathology, forefoot surgery and pediatric care and total contact casting for difficult diabetic wounds.
Dr. Tritto, who wrestled in college at Penn State, remains active in the sport. Over the years he has helped with coaching in local high schools and wrestling clubs and continues to compete in masters level events.
Dr. Tritto has lectured regionally and nationally, and has been published in the American Journal of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Tritto and his wife Melissa reside in Montgomery County with three sons, Austin, Logan, and Spencer.
