She completed her three-year surgical residency in foot and ankle/podiatric surgery at level two trauma centers within the Main Line Health System Hospitals, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She served as chief resident during her final year. Her training was focused in the most up to- date techniques in comprehensive disorders of the foot and ankle, including foot and ankle traumatic injuries, sports medicine injuries, bunion and hammertoe deformities, diabetic foot care, Charcot neuroarthropathy, and wound care. She has a personal interest in trauma of the foot and ankle and diabetic limb salvage, utilizing both conservative and surgical treatment options.

Dr. Alex strongly believes total foot and ankle care is not “one size fits all” and caters to working with her patients to work their treatments into their lifestyle. She works attentively with her patients and guides them in making the best decision about their individual treatment plan. She loves to take the time to educate her patients on their ailments and how best to improve their overall function. Dr. Alex emphasizes getting patients back to a healthy level of function as quickly as possible and resuming the activities that they enjoy.
