Dr. Eric Masternick
Dr. Eric Masternick is board-certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Masternick completed his undergraduate studies at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, before pursuing his podiatric medical education. Following graduation, he completed a three-year surgical residency at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Throughout his career, Dr. Masternick has remained actively involved in professional leadership and education. He previously served as vice president and president of the Eastern Academy of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association for three years. He currently holds staff privileges at Reston Hospital Center and INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital.
Dr. Masternick has been recognized for his expertise and dedication to patient care, being voted a Top Doctor in Northern Virginia Magazine multiple years (2014–2016, 2018).
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Masternick enjoys staying active through tennis, golf, basketball, and running. He was also a varsity golf and tennis athlete in high school. In addition, he contributes to the podiatric field by authoring publications and delivering presentations and lectures on podiatric topics for both the public and fellow healthcare professionals.
