Dr. Erika Schwartz​

Dr. Erika Schwartz is the Scientific Conference Chair and a past President of the American Association for Women Podiatrists. She currently serves on the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association executive board and is a resident educator at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, where she has received the ‘Teacher of the Year’ award. Dr. Schwartz was recognized by her peers and colleagues in the ‘Washingtonian Magazine’ as a top DC Podiatrist. As an American Podiatric Medical Association spokesperson she has been featured throughout multimedia, including the Washington Post, Prevention Magazine, and DC Channel 5 News.

Dr. Schwartz is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery. She is on the medical staff at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Glen Echo Surgery Center, and Massachusetts Avenue Surgery Center. Dr. Schwartz is originally from Long Island, New York. She and her husband now reside in Montgomery County, Maryland, with their two children.
