Dr. Hetal Kathrotiya-Mago

Dr. Hetal Kathrotiya-Mago grew up in Laurel, Maryland. She graduated with academic honors from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She completed her podiatric medical studies at Temple University, School of Podiatric Medicine. She served as Chief resident in her final year of her 3-year hospital-based interdisciplinary residency at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Hetal Kathrotiya-Mago enjoys seeing and connecting with patients of all ages. Dr Kathrotiya-Mago interned at the National Institutes of Health at the Institute of Aging for two summers while in podiatric medical school. She is particularly fascinated with the science of aging and wants to keep her patients’ feet healthy and active as they age. Her areas of interest include sports medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, diabetic wound care, and geriatric foot care.

Dr. Kathrotiya-Mago strives to make patients informed and active participants in their foot and ankle care.

She is a mother to two children and enjoys yoga, baking, traveling and painting in her free time.
