Dr. Lee E. Firestone​

Dr. Firestone specializes in sports medicine and the surgical and non-surgical correction of foot and ankle disorders. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in foot surgery and also holds board certification in sports medicine.

An accomplished runner, Dr. Firestone competes in numerous local and regional races and has completed multiple marathons, including prestigious events in Boston, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Marine Corps. He is an RRCA certified running coach with the Montgomery County Road Runners (MCRRC) Experienced Marathon Program (XMP) and a master runner with the MCRRC racing team.

In recognition of his expertise and dedication, Dr. Firestone was honored as one of the 2024 top podiatrists in Metropolitan Washington DC. His peer and patient accolades include being named a top sports medicine provider by ‘Washingtonian Magazine’ and best doctor by ‘Run Washington Magazine.’ Dr. Firestone has been a valued medical professional in the Washington DC area since 1994. He resides in Montgomery County with his wife, Sheryl, and their three children.
