Dr. Su Hyun Kim
Dr. Su Kim, DPM is a highly skilled and Board Certified podiatrist, currently serving the community of Clarksville, Maryland. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Kim moved to Rockville, Maryland during his high school years. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by medical training at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kim completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, NY.
Dr. Kim was drawn to podiatry due to his personal experiences with flat feet, which significantly impacted his ability to participate in sports during high school. Thanks to effective treatment by a podiatrist, he was able to return to his active lifestyle, which fueled his passion for the field.
Today, Dr. Kim specializes in treating foot pain, providing diabetic foot education and care, and managing wound care. He is dedicated to improving his patients’ quality of life through comprehensive foot and ankle care.
An active member of several professional associations, Dr. Kim is affiliated with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. In his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys staying active through various exercises and outdoor activities, traveling to new destinations, and embracing his bilingual abilities. His multicultural background and extensive training allow him to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, providing compassionate and informed care.
