He completed a 3 year surgical residency at his top choice, Memorial Regional Hospital System in Hollywood, Florida. He aspired to further surgical training and decided, along with his family, to leave the Sunshine state for the Blue Ridge mountains of Roanoke, VA. Here he completed a reconstructive foot and ankle surgical Fellowship. He chose to stay and continue practicing in Roanoke where he is currently a part of FASMA.

Dr. Rubiano has extensive training in elective and non-elective complex reconstructive surgery including: diabetic charcot, sports related injuries, pediatric deformities and trauma of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Rubiano is currently taking new patients, same day and future appointments. He is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. He is a firm believer in treating others how one would like to be treated. He would like all his current and future patients to know that when he evaluates your foot or ankle concerns, he will make sure you are treated as if you were family.
